With a total length of 5 km and a surface of 627 m², Lake Caldonazzo in Valsugana is the biggest lake in the Trentino region after Lake Garda. Despite being an alpine lake, it is a very popular bathing lake in summer with an average water temperature of 24°C. In the main villages Calceranica al Lago and Caldonazzo, bathing beaches await you for sunbathing and relaxing. Furthermore, Caldonazzo is a Mecca for water sport fans: here you can try windsurfing, sailing, diving, swimming and rowing. The lake is also well appreciated amongst anglers, and plays venue to some national and international sports events.
