Science Museum

Since July 2013 Trento has a new Science Museum – the MUSE, designed by Renzo Piano.

Once inside, the visitor is at the centre of the action: he can feel cold air, look closely at a strange insect, gaze into the eyes of a Neanderthal or get surprised by a dinosaur skeleton.

Six floors of exhibition galleries include an Alpine glacier, dolomite rocks and a tropical greenhouse. The museum is defined by an interactive approach leading the visitors through different environments and biodiversities which make the visit an exciting adventure.

Thanks to the exhibits, activities and educational programmes the MUSE is an amazing destination for the cultural tourism.

Interactive games, virtual and real incitement help discover science through the senses and explore nature, showing us at the same time how to protect the environment.

From the prehistory to the future: an amazing trip into science, technology and in time.

The museum is tri-lingual: information is offered in Italian, English and German.
